Is it okay to have my HVAC system serviced during the Covid-19 crisis?

As the Covid-19 crisis continues to be an element in our lives, with more time indoors, comes more usage of appliances, and with that, comes repair issues. If your AC system is on the fritz, what should you do? Here are the steps we recommend:

IF MY HVAC UNIT QUITS WORKING OR ISN'T WORKING PROPERLY - CAN I STILL CALL FOR A REPAIRMAN?

Yes. The AIR MD service crew continues to take phone calls, book appointments, and make repairs all across West Tennessee. As that is on-going, so is the Covid-19 crisis, and we are likewise monitoring and adhering to all city, county, and state recommendations.

STEPS OUR SERVICE PROFESSIONALS ARE TAKING

All of our employees are given daily temperature checks. Anyone who qualifies as having a 'fever' is not allowed to participate in any activities. We disinfect all of our equipment daily.

WHAT WE RECOMMEND REGARDING SOCIAL DISTANCING ON A SERVICE CALL.

If you are needing an emergency repair, some basic steps you may take to reduce your risk as well as the risk for our service techs:

  • Let us know if you or anyone in your family is symptomatic.

  • Please disinfect any handles where we may need access.

  • Maintain social distance best practices (don’t shake hands, keep distance, don’t share pens, paper, etc.)

  • AIR MD is equipped to send you an electronic invoice if you prefer.
